Hello world

In computer programming, a "Hello world" program is one of the first and most elementary possible, simply outputting "Hello world" on a screen. This post is my "Hello World" program.

Pride is one of the 5 values of my personal manifesto, and yet in launching my Hello into the world I was nearly sabotaged by it. When pride is taken to its extreme it can easily become a striving for perfection, and that is rarely productive. But in the creative tension between Pride and Stretching my innate drive for perfection lost out to the more pressing demands of simply just getting started. One thing that it took me many years to realise is that an imperfect start today is better than a perfect one tomorrow (or never!).

I'm reminded of these 2 quotes;

If you are not embarrassed by the first version of your product, you’ve launched too late.
